    Sprouted Sathu Maavu also called as Health Mix is a nutritious blend of ingredients sprouted, roasted and grinded to a powder. Sathu Maavu is a great source of nutrition for all ages especially for growing kids. Sathu Maavu is a blend of grains, pulses, millets and nuts each roasted separately and powdered in a flour mill.

    Sathu Maavu ingredients & method varies from region to region but essentially a mix which nourishes the needed nutrients for the body. We take extreme care while sprouting roasting to enhance taste quality of the nutritious drink.

    How To Use

    Sathu Maavu can be made in 2 version sweet and salt.

    Sweet – This sweet porridge is mostly suitable for kids as it is tasty and most kids like sweet.

    Salt – This salt porridge is suitable for elders and diabetics patients.

    Recipe -
    1) Take 1/2 cup sathu maavu (porridge flour or health mix) in the cooking vessel.
    2) Add 2 and 1/2 cups of water.
    3) Whisk it well without any lumps.
    4) Switch on the flame. Heat it up.
    5) Cook in medium low flame, the color of the porridge first changes to a darker shade of brown.
    6) When it starts getting thicker check consistency and turn off flame.
    7) Mix it with milk and jaggery powder or buttermilk and salt according to your taste and preference
